About Brian Trudeau
Brian Trudeau, Berlin Wall 2006
Originally from Westfield, Massachusetts, I live in Enfield, Connecticut with wife Kristen and son Thomas.
Of course by now you know I am the the founder of Trudeau Consulting LLC. I'm also a full-time employee at a global specialty metals company, based out of North Haven, CT. There, I am a Progress programmer and ERP specialist.
My skill set includes:
I also have good working knowledge of:
I particularly enjoy design (graphics, layout) but also get a good deal of satisfaction from a well-designed "back-end" system configuration.
I'm a big advocate of automated scripts to save time doing things like backups and auto-FTP'ing. My philosophy is that we all started using computers in the first place to save time. We should all go back-to-basics from time to time and try to earn a return on our tech investment.
As far as biographical info, being a native of New England, I love all sports from the region. That includes (of course) the Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and Celtics.
More of my spare time is spent now with baby Tommy but when I can find time, I like to publish articles on various topics. I use Associated Content as a medium for this work. Some of my articles are listed below, in case you are curious.

I've also been known on rare occasions to paint water colors and love photo-realism.
These are usually done for close friends and family so I can't say I have any samples to show off.
I am a registered Justice of the Peace for the State of Connecticut. This means I can take legal oaths. Most of the time this means weddings. I created a website for it but the design is in-progress.
I donate regularly to the New England Forestry Foundation. We all need to do our part to leave the environment in a better state than how it was when we were born into it.
